Anmerkung:

Vier Mannschaftsmitglieder  kehrten nach England zurück bevor die  HMS Erebus und die HMS Terror das Polarmeer erreichten: Thomas Burt, John Brown, James Elliot und William Aitken. Mit dem Transportschiff „Barretto Junior“ das die Expedition bis zu den Walfischinseln in der Discobucht  vor der Westküste Grönlands begleitete.
